South Village Hospitality has temporarily closed Carroll Place as the team prepares for an exciting rebrand in collaboration with hospitality veterans Mike Kanevsky and Jesse Rosen of Waiting On A Friend.
Coming Soon: "Yesterdays"
The new concept, Yesterday’s, is slated to open in early spring and will reimagine the space as a modern, nostalgia-driven social club rooted in music, cocktails, food, and late-night culture. Yesterday’s takes inspiration from iconic New York nights of the past, when great DJs, strong drinks, and effortless style defined going out, while delivering a contemporary and elevated experience.
The venue will feature a refined yet energetic atmosphere, a music-forward program blending classic and modern sounds, and a cocktail menu designed for long nights and repeat rounds. The space will also be thoughtfully designed to double as a great place to watch sports, with an environment that keeps the energy high without sacrificing style.
Complementing the bar program, Yesterday’s will offer a nostalgic food menu featuring elevated takes on American classic favorites, creating a place where guests can settle in, eat well, and stay late.
The concept is aimed at a stylish, downtown-leaning crowd of creative professionals, industry insiders, and socially active locals in their late 20s to mid-40s who value authenticity, music, and atmosphere over flash. Yesterday’s is designed to be both a destination and a neighborhood favorite, a place that feels familiar the first night you walk in and essential by the second.
More details will be announced ahead of its early-spring opening. Follow us on Instagram @Yesterdays for updates.
